Here, the Air Force 1 Mid leads the latest celebration, its two colorwayss distinct in what they choose to draw inspiration from.Those who are invested in sneaker culture will know that there are certain silhouettes that cities across the United States can heavily identify with, and for New York City, it’s the Air Force 1.which starts atop a rather simple white base, adds a touch of baseball influence, its lining fully dressed in a navy pinstripe fabric.
In honour of New York City’s basketball heritage, Nike dedicates this pair of Nike Air Force 1s to the Big Apple by stitching ‘NYC’ on the heels and ankle straps.Uppers of these Nike Air Force 1 Mids are mostly styled in white as everything from the leather side walls, tongues, overlays, toe boxes, heels, straps and milky jeweled Swooshes are done up with angelic finishes. “Midnight Navy” hits are then applied to the NYC embroidery that lands on the lateral side of the straps, tongues, heels, lower toe box Swooshes and the interior lining. The latter is also decorated with gray pinstripe patterns which certainly channel a New York Yankees-esque type of look (too bad they didn’t make the playoffs). Midsoles are designed with the colorless look as well and the outsoles come dressed with gum backdrops and a green “6” logo to signify one of New York’s MTA lines.
Paying homage to a variety of Nike's classic logos, the Nike Air Force 1 07 Premium Just Do It attempts to seamlessly place all of them throughout the shoe.the shoe celebrates 30 years of Nike’s ‘Just Do It’ slogan, featuring a white leather upper dressed in the iconography of Nike’s original 1988 campaign. The visual cues include a colorful green and orange ‘Just Do It’ tongue tag, orange and black mini Swooshes, and an orange Nike Air patch on the toe and quarter panel. ‘Just Do It’ is also printed on the laces, mismatched Swooshes, and a large black banner wrapping around the heel.the most noticable feature of this pair is the transluscent Nike Swoosh which features "Just Do It" text covering its entirety. In addition, various Nike logos can be found on both the lateral and medial sides of the otherwise all-white Air Force 1 Lows.
